Dr. Nabil Tabbara
TMJ Problems & Orofacial Pain
In the many years I have been practicing as a general dentist since earning my doctorate in 1980, I am continually fascinated by how much dentistry can offer … especially when expanding the boundaries of traditional dental practice. Your oral health is so much more than your teeth and gums – oral health supports your healthy life and overall health too. That’s why I’ve spent time achieving accreditation from dental organizations that allow me to further address issues including TMJ (jaw joint) problems and orofacial pain.
Snoring & Sleep Apnea
As a general dentist, I can also help address snoring and sleep apnea treatments to help improve your general health. Sleep apnea, which may be masked as snoring, is a significant health hazard that can affect your heart, blood pressure, sexual performance, wakefulness, memory, and focus. Treatment with an oral appliance or other approaches can save your life and improve its quality. And because we are dedicated to your health and happiness, we can perform a simple screening at the practice to see if you require more testing or referrals, and provide a small, comfortable oral appliance to wear while sleeping.
Myobraces For Developing Jaws
I can even – in some cases – decrease the need for braces later in life by using the Myobrace System! This system not only helps reduce the need for braces later, but also helps your child’s facial development and can be used to correct sleep disordered breathing in children.
